Well, I don't eat that stuff, and China is one of those places I have

Maybe the Chinese could put some lead or sulphur in them and make them
even more nutritionally poisonous than they are now.

Probably not. Being on a tight budget and /or lazy about cooking wins
out over caring about nutrition and health.

Similar mentality keeps the soda and candy companies in business.

While I certainly did not buy anything there, I did check out the happy meal
toy while in Beijing. The toys can be very cool, and can do very well on
eBay in the US. Anyway, I suppose their McDonald's is slopped together with
Chinese slave labor. Or maybe McDonald's is a great job in China. Who
knows.
