Not true.

Anyone can get misc.health.alternative, Jan.

All you have to do to get misc.health.alternative is to pay a monthly
fee to one of the many unscrupulous NNTP's a/k/a news servers
which carry all of usenet's news groups.

Alternatively, you can access misc.health.alternative by signing up
for one of the many "free" newsservers (most if not all of which are
even more unscrupulous than the unscrupulous NNTP's one must pay to
use to access Usenet's Newsgroups.)

My problem with accessing MHA or any other usenet newsgroup via the
unscrupulous NNTPs and/or free newsservers I mentioned above is that
the NTTP's and Free Newsservers all make it easy as pie for the
criminal element to impersonate, frogger, forge and steal OP's
online identities.

However, you and any other google groups user who doesn't mind having
members of the criminal element impersonate, frogger, forge, and
steal your online identity, in part or whole, can get MHA via the
same NNTPs and/or free newsservers which the criminal element uses to
access MHA and other usenet newsgroups.

Correct. I can get to m.h.a without a problem, by using a regular
newsreader and not the GoogleGroups interface. Jan cannot, because her
ISPs do not provide direct access to Usenet.

> Anyone can get misc.health.alternative,  Jan.

Not quite. Your ISP needs to provide usenet access. Jan's doesn't.

Good description of those evil companies. ;)

What is a "mumber ome"?

Thanks for the compliment.

Actually, you provided the proof of my statement.
