The subject is not to make others look foolish. It to help children.
To go along with schools having junk foods, and drinks is saying it is
ok. It is not. Parents should speak up. Trouble is most parents are
eating and drinking the same things. So do many teachers. Both should
know better. Lack of discipline is the problem.

There is no real problem with aspartame. Except that they cause some
people with migraines to have worse migraines, there is no evidence that
aspartame harms anyone.
