Looking for Options for someone between 10 and 20 years of age
recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes?

If you or a family member has been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes
within the last three months, then this clinical trial may be of
interest to you.

The DiaPrevent research study aims to find out if the investigational
study vaccine, named Diamyd, may preserve the body's ability to
produce insulin in children and young adults with Type 1 Diabetes.

This study might be appropriate if you or a family member:

• Are between 10 and 20 years of age
• Have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes within the past 3 months
• Meet other study entry criteria

The DiaPrevent research study will include 320 participants at 30 to
50 sites across the United States. We hope that the DiaPrevent study
will lead to advancements in the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes.
