Hey, Cousin Jan! Have diet sodas sweetened with aspartame. Much better
for you.

Does soft drink contain baking soda?

Baking soda is bicarbonate of soda, isn't it?
(as distinct from baking POWDER which is 1/2 bicarb & 1/2 cream of
tartar)

I think that soft drink may not be all that bad, depending on how much
sugar it contains. Some soft drinks contain more than others.

The bicarb in soft drink would also help with digestion, I would
imagine.
People need to look at total sugar in diet, not just soft drink.

Does soft drink contain baking soda?
====================
Not that I am aware of, even just plain old soda water which is CO2 and
water.

I think they meant to say "soda pop" soda can be most anything, soda
crackers included.

On the west coast soft drinks are called that, or "cokes" in the generic
sense.
In any event whatever the term there are a lot of non-sugar soft drinks
around and most fat people buy those while they heap loads of salad dressing
on their salads. LOL
